Our Amenities

Farmer's Market

We know food and fresh air are one of the best ways neighbors become friends, and a community becomes even more of a gathering place. That’s why a good old-fashioned Farmer Market is an integral part of our community plan. This is where the corn, tomatoes, flowers, baked good, smiles and the good life grow.

Pool and Club House

Happiness is a day at the pool!

Our Pool and Club House are complete with the most luxurious amenities, including a Fitness Center, Showers, and Lockers. The large Community Room is perfect for parties and events, and a Board Room is available for conferences and meetings.

Top-rated Schools

The kids who live at Bishops Bay go to the best schools in the region? Well, that’s brilliant.

Our homes are in the award-winning Waunakee Community School District.

Working Farm

We cultivate happiness.

Right in the middle of our community, you’ll find a real farm with make-you-smile rows of all kinds of wholesome goodness. It’s our way of putting our philosophy to work – helping make the most of the land around us, harvesting good things for our neighbors, and teaching the next generation that food doesn’t “grow’ on a grocery store shelf. It’s a slice of country life that can be shared by everyone at Bishops Bay and its sure to reap a wild harvest of new vegetable lovers.

Sports Fields

Harvey John and Lucille Taylor Memorial Park.

Basketball courts, football fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, playground equipment, park shelter, team sports, league sports, special events, soccer fields, softball fields, and volleyball courts.

Not a garden gnome in sight.

Our community embraces acres and acres of sweeping, protected prairie land which makes up the landscape for man¥ of our homes. Here, the natural beauty of the prairied quietly connects your to Wisconsin’s past.

Water Trail

The Water Trail is a unique and refreshing way to explore and enjoy the great outdoors. This 40-acre park sites next to the beautiful Dorn Creek Reserve and offers ample opportunities to canoe or kayak through water trails to explore nature. Dorn Creek Reserve is a private, natural area open to neighborhood residents and their guests, offering opportunities for fishing, hunting and hiking.

Woodland Adventure Park

The Woodland Adventure Park offers a myriad of recreational opportunities, and is the centerpiece of the Bishop Bay park system. This gorgeous 50-acres recreation area is centered around a lush restored woodland and beautiful savanna, with scenic views of the Capitol, golf course, Lake Mendota and the sprawling countryside. Residents can enjoy everything from family playgrounds to disc golf, hiking and mountain biking trails, picnic areas and a dog park.

Give me trails, lots of trails, under sunny skies above …

We think living in the beautiful Midwest is a reason to celebrate. And bike. And walk. And hike. And blade. We have miles and miles of trails that go from our neighborhoods to stunning open spaces to peaceful nature preserves to lively parks and back to coffee shops and front porches (be prepared to leave your car in the garage for days on end).

Open Space

Stunning natural beauty and breathtaking wide-open spaces surround Bishop Bay with an amazing array of Mother nature’s best work.

Regional parks, conservancies and protected prairies and woods branch out from our community and connect us to an entire network of walking, hiking and biking trails and waterways. This is where the good life spans all the way to the horizon. It’s where families spread their wings. Where fun is never fenced in, activities are as varied as the season, and connecting to some of Wisconsin’s most breathing scenery is as close as the trail outside your front door.
